Hello! My name is Natalie Arbizu, and I am currently obtaining my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in addictions. I was born and raised in Arizona but attended Wayne State College in Nebraska. While obtaining my Bachelor’s in Psychology, I actually played four years of college softball there! During my time in school my passion for being a supportive factor for children increased greatly. I also have three years of childcare experience from infants to 14-year-olds. Upon finishing my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling my goal is to work with children and teens from a variety of backgrounds who are ready to take the next step in their therapeutic process.

When I am not doing schoolwork, you will find me working out, running, reading, going to church, or spending time with my family. Since I have played softball my entire life in addition to some of the events I have experienced, ranging from parental illness to having a parent be a first responder, I like to have a Person-Centered approach. I want to work with clients to ensure that we are meeting the wants and goals that they have created. Everyone is unique in the sense that the events we endure and the feelings we feel are specific to us and that is what makes us, us. I want to help clients see their room for growth and accomplish even more than they could ever imagine. Starting therapy for the first time or even a second, or third time, can cause an array of emotions to appear. My goal is to create a foundation between myself and the client to help ease those emotions and help the client achieve whatever they would like!

I would be honored to get to know you and work with you!
